How does it work?
I specialize in live fashion illustration, offering a unique and elevated artistic experience for weddings, cocktail parties, baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, and baby showers. With over 20 years of experience in art, I bring my background as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator to create elegant, fashion-inspired portraits of your guests in real time.
Having a live illustrator at your event is more than entertainment, it’s an unforgettable experience. Guests are invited to pose for a photo, which I use as a reference to create a personalized illustration that captures their style and essence. Each piece becomes a meaningful keepsake that your guests can take home and cherish, making your event truly stand out.
All illustrations are hand-drawn and painted using watercolor and alcohol markers and oil Pastel, heavyweight mixed media or watercolor paper. The standard format is 5 x 7 inches, and each finished artwork is placed in a protective transparent sleeve. I can also customize each illustration with your event name, logo, or special details upon request.
My process is simple and organized: guests pose for a photo upon arrival, and I work in order as photos are taken. Illustrations are completed throughout the event, and guests can pick them up during or at the end of the celebration. In the rare case that not all illustrations are completed on-site, I finish them in my studio and mail them directly to each guest using the information collected at the event.
I typically arrive 30 minutes before the event to set up my workspace. I only require a table and two chairs, preferably near an outlet to connect a small desk lamp if lighting is limited.
Each illustration takes approximately 5 minutes per person, or 8–10 minutes per couple, with the option to include personalized details such as accessories (for example, a handbag or other visible elements from the photo).
Booking Details:
I am based in Westfield, Indiana, and available to travel within a 40-mile radius. Events located farther away can also be accommodated with adjusted travel fees.
Event Duration: Services are available for 2 to 4 hours.
